Success Stories from Dart
It's been a great racing season this year. Racers have taken advantage of Dart power and some serious talent to leave their mark.

There are a lot of great stories from the season so far, and we want to highlight just a few of them!

Douglass & LeDuc Conquer Crandon
The 2009 Crandon 40th Anniversary Championship Off Road Races were an awesome showing of power and performance! We’d like to congratulate Pro-4 world champion Scott Douglas and Pro-2 world champion Todd LeDuc for their overwhelming success in winning their respective events. Not one, but both racers used Pro Power built motors based on Dart’s legendary billet blocks.

Great talent and great engines are a sure combination for victory, and we’re proud to be a part of this championship. Congratulations to both winners from all of us here at Dart!

Parent Dominates Jolliet
A Dart powered Kevin Parent won the NMCA NPS and Superbowl Shootout in Joliet, IL July 17-19.

The NMCA Nostalgia Pro Street standout dominated the class, running a best of 7.358 @ 182.50mph. Kevin’s beautiful red Nova is powered by a 632 cubic inch Dart big block, and regularly shows the competition its tail lights in NMCA events.

Kalamazoo Racer Wins $20,000 Engine!
A Kalamazoo racer added a $20,000 racing engine to his list of winnings during Engine Pro’s Engine Giveaway presented by Dart Machinery at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Mich.

Justin Wanamaker’s name was the last one left as names of the other 19 top-10 racers in point standings in both the Top ET and Modified classes were pulled from the hat in September at the Fifth Annual IHRA Funny Car Nationals.

Runners-up received free racing fuel.

Wanamaker’s new engine was assembled by Performance Engineering Racing Engines in Jenison, Mich., from parts and components supplied by Dart Machinery, Melling Performance, JE Pistons, ARP, Hastings Racing, Oliver, Ferrea, Comp Cams, SCAT, Clevite, Victor Reinz, Stef’s Performance and, Pro Finish Powder Coating.

Engine Pro has announced that another racing engine will be given away next year at the Martin track!
