Dart PRO1 LS Cylinder Head – Dyno Test

This is a 440 cube LS using our LSNext iron block and the PRO1 LS heads on top. Compression checked in at 11:1, and the engine was run with a Cam Motion solid roller camshaft, Harland Sharp 1.7:1 rocker arms, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and one of Book Racing’s BRX JR. two-blade carburetors.

Running on VP Racing’s C14 fuel, the engine produced 769.4 horsepower at 7,300 RPM and 634.3 pound-feet of torque at 5,200 RPM. Even more impressive, average numbers from 6,000-7,500 RPM showed 749.8 horsepower and 585.4 pound-feet of torque.
